Birds in the garden.

All these pictures of birds in the garden were taken by Ian Cook in his garden in Wild Hill, Hertfordshire, UK

with the exception of the Robin which was taken by Howard Baker in Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire and

the Nuthatch which was taken by Mike Woodard in Barnet Hertfordshire.

Woodpeckers seem to love the juice from the red-hot poker flowers, they sometimes

peck so hard that the flower head falls off the stem.
